The Universal Time Variations of the Intensity of Afternoon Aurora in Equinoctial Seasons The afternoon auroral emissions are investigated in the equinoxes for geomagnetically quiet conditions (Kp = 1) using auroral images from ultraviolet imager (UVI) aboard the Polar satellite.
